Why DMs lose orders
Selling in chat works right up until it doesn't. Three things break it, and they all get worse as you get busier.
Orders scroll away. One arrives while you are replying to someone else, it moves up the screen, and by evening you cannot tell whether you promised the red velvet to Ayesha or Sana.
You answer the same question fifty times. "How much is a dozen?" is not a conversation, it is a price list being read out one person at a time.
Totals get done in your head. Add delivery, add a discount for a regular, and the number you agreed and the number you collect quietly diverge — which also means your sales figures are wrong.
The setup, step by step
First, list what you sell. A photo, a name and a price for each item. That is the entire catalogue step, and most sellers are done in under ten minutes.
Second, pick your link. You get an address like ayeshabakes.modventrix.com. This is the thing you will paste into your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp status and anywhere else people find you.
Third, add your WhatsApp number and turn on taking orders. That is the whole setup. Share the link.
From then on, a customer opens the link, picks items, enters name, phone and address, and taps to order. The order is written down on your side first, then WhatsApp opens with it typed out. If they never press send, you still have the order.
What it costs
A free order page with up to 30 orders a month costs nothing, does not expire, and does not ask for a card. Past 30 orders in a month it is Rs 500 a month for unlimited orders.
Payment stays exactly where it is now: cash on delivery, Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer, arranged in the chat as usual. The order page records the order — it does not sit between you and your money and it does not take a cut.
When you outgrow it
You do not need to change anything until the shape of the business changes. If you open a counter, a point of sale is Rs 1,500 a month. If you start holding real stock across more than one place, that is the Rs 5,000 tier.
Your link does not change and your orders come with you, so there is no rebuild — which is the main reason to start on a free page rather than waiting until you are "ready" for software.
