Batch and expiry,
held per strip
A medical store is the one counter where stock is not just a count. The same medicine sits in two batches at two rates with two expiry dates, and the one you sell matters. Modventrix holds batch and expiry against the item, bills from the counter, and takes the stock down as it goes, so what expires next is a report rather than a discovery.
What you get
What a pharmacy counter actually needs
Batch and expiry on the item, not in a notebook
Every receipt from a distributor can carry its batch number and expiry date, and the stock knows which batch it is holding. You can see what expires this month before the rep arrives to argue about returns.
receiving against the purchase order it came fromBill fast at the counter
Scan or search, bill, print. The till keeps working through load shedding and a dead connection, then catches up by itself, which matters on a counter that cannot tell a customer to come back later.
the billing side in fullCredit for the regulars, written down
The family that settles at the end of the month goes on a running balance instead of a diary. You can see who owes what, largest first, without keeping a separate khata.
the udhaar khata behind itBuy from several distributors without losing the rate
Different distributors, different rates, different discount structures on the same medicine. Purchasing keeps the rate each one actually charged, so margin is the real number rather than the list price minus a guess.
More than one counter, one stock number
A second shop or a store room behind the counter is another location on the same stock, with transfers between them rather than a second purchase.
two shops on one stock numberWho is allowed to see what
Cost price and margin hidden from the counter staff, reports kept to the owner. Permissions run to the individual action rather than the whole module.

When this is the wrong plan
This is retail pharmacy software, not a hospital system. There is no prescription module, no patient record and no doctor scheduling, and it does not file invoices with FBR's digital invoicing system. If any of those three is the reason you are shopping, say so on WhatsApp before you buy rather than after.

How much does inventory software cost in Pakistan?
Free to about Rs 6,000 a month, and the gap is not features on a list. It is whether the system covers buying as well as selling.

Short, extra and damaged each need a different answer at the door. Signing for the paperwork instead of the goods is how stock records start lying.

Rs 2,499 a month, billed monthly, with no setup fee and no lock-in. That covers billing, batch and expiry, customer ledgers and staff accounts. Distributor purchasing with a supplier ledger and multiple locations is Rs 4,999 a month. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is required.
Yes. Both are held against the stock itself, captured when you receive from a distributor, so the same medicine in two batches at two rates stays two separate things. Expiry is a report you can read before the stock is dead, not something you find on the shelf.
There are free and pirated billing tools, and they are usually free because billing is all they do. The cost turns up later, when expiry, distributor rates and credit customers live in three other places and none of them agree. If budget is the constraint, start the free trial and decide with your own stock in it.
As long as the device has power, yes. You can bill, print and take payment with the connection completely down, and it reconciles by itself when the line returns with no sale counted twice.
Not today. Invoices carry your business details and tax, but they are not transmitted to FBR's system from here. FBR's draft rules in 2026 widen who has to integrate, so if your store is sales tax registered, ask us where this stands before you buy.
Yes, on the Rs 4,999 plan. Each store is a location with its own stock, transfers between them are recorded on both sides, and reports stay separated by store rather than pooled into one total.
